well at least for me it has....
however tonight i'm headed back to Azeroth =D
and i'm a little excited about it
My partner, a Night Elf Druid, had a play last night
(my game was still loading the mega patch =)
and i had such an overwhelming sense of, well, such a mix of feelings
most outstanding was the mega grin on my face
i have missed wow
and am looking forward to playing again
plus
PANDAS!!
in a few days

i was thinking bout maybe writing about my adventures of my little panda girl here
when i make one
when i decide what class to make her
which is a big decision

To the Faire!!

The Darkmoon Faire is here again :)
I do really like the faire
The sound of fireworks in the distance,
The cool breeze through the dark trees.
The sound of laughter, and fun.
If i could set my hearth here i would
(sorry my beloved Dal, but you are lagtastically inclined :P)
I love the darkness of the island, the mystery of it.
I spent over an hour last month just following the glowing mist trails that float and swirl around the woods of the island. (it didn't lead me anywhere, but i still had fun, simple minds and all lol)
So for this next week i've decided to take some pics of the faire, to show the beauty i see in the darkness :)

(just a side note, i find it rather relaxing to sit somewhere in the world, turn the graphics up to ultra, turn the sound up with the ambience higher than the music, makes the stress and bother of life stuff melt away, if only for a little)

tis the season

so it's here once again
the silly season indeed
daily presents, egg nog,
snowball fights and thrasher crasher races through the streets of Dal!
I'm a happy little priesty in the land of Azeroth atm :)

Everyone is so cheery this time of year, myself included :D
I've been handing out presents to the citizens of Azeroth hee hee
GREEN WINTER CLOTHES to be precise :D (i managed to "obtain" the pattern from Thunderbluff, my death was involved, however i got the pattern so that's what counts :P)

And today i killed the Abominable Greench!
It worked out perfectly
I was standing on the snowy knoll near the Greench's lair
Thinking to myself "i don't think i can solo this" :/
When down drops a friendly Mage :D
"You reckon we can take it?" I ask
"We can try!" came the reply
When down drops a Shaman
"Need heals?" She asks
"Sure would be handy"
So we group up, when down drops a Pally :D
"Now there's timing" said the Mage
"consider her ninja-vited" I say
INVITE ACCEPTED :D

We down the Greench in no time, all very happily chuffed with our selves.
"portal?" asks the Mage
"Please!"
(Mages are so handy :D)

So back to Iron Forge we go,
hand in our quests
get our prezzies :D
(i got a toy gorilla)
Then ended the day with a game of Thrash Crash Racers
(Pally needed the achieve, who am i to say no :D)

So all in all it was a lovely Sunday afternoon
Spent with people i've never met
yet can put a smile on my face
and made me remember why i love this game :D

adventures in Dalaran

just a little thing

So i was on my daily bounce around my beloved city of Dal.

It's a thing i like to do, just bounce around while thinking what to do, when i came across another bouncer.

(you'll see us around if you look, bouncing around the place :P)

we bounced around each other for a bit (it was a human pally female, had a cute name that i thought i'd remember, but alas my memory isn't as good as i thought lol),

we were happily bouncing around each other when we both stopped and looked at each other....

(i could imagine lightbulbs light up above our heads)

LEAP FROG!!

so a game of leap frog began around the streets of Dal, went on for about 5 mins lol

but it made me smile

So one of the things i like to do in wow is find pretty places and have picnics lol. (yeah i know i'm special, but so is the world :P)

Normally i just hang around Dal, cos Dal is awesome, but i've started to venture out a bit.

This is a pretty little spot just outside of SW, near the little gnome's house with the exploding sheep lol.

i'll be taking more pics of spots i find and start posting them. i'll also see if i can get the co-ordinates for the places :P (lol not that there is anyone here but hey, maybe one day there will be)

random acts of super coolness

K, so just a little story about something pretty cool that happened to me whilst i was swimming around Vashj'ir.

It all started as i was hanging around the Shimmering Expanse looking for the elusive Poseidus, don't laugh, i will find him one day and then i'll have a seahorse for always and forever :D

Anyway, on this occasion there was no Poseidus for me, but there were some pirates to kill!!

So off a killing i went! My happy little shadow priest killing the Captain of the ship, who, incidentally, only dropped 3 gold >.> (also, unrelated to the story, however i also found out that one should not kill the ship mates on the ship, they flag you as pvp and also kicked my butt, as i was unprepared :P)

Upon returning to my dead corpse (thanx again ship mates >.>) and extracting my revenge on the saliors, i came across a whale shark :S

k, i am super afraid of whale sharks, and normally swim my little priesty butt away as fast as my, can only use in these waters, seahorse will take me, however this one was different. This one had a hunters mark upon its head and curiosity got the better of me, so i swam in closer to investigate.

At first i was a bit baffled cos i couldn't see anyone, (i'm a blind priest who also has no sense of direction fyi), so, using my awesome detective skills, i found who the shark was targeting and whispered them :D

"I just wanted to know if you were soloing that? The killing of that there shark?"

i asked the hunter

"Oh no, lol that'd take too long, just doing it with a couple of mates" he replied

"sweet, still very impressive!" i said in return

And indeed it was impressive, i've tried it before in an old guild and failed dismally, so i was rather impressed by this.

After the achieves were achieved, hee hee, i gave my grats to those involved and proceeded to hearth back to my beloved Dalaran, and after my loading screen had gone away, (i have loading screen issues :P), up popped a party invite O_o.

Not one to turn down a party invite, lol, i accepted the invitation.

"oh hai hai" i say

"heya, Shellme, come get your achieve!!"

"wait what?!" i say, clearly dumb founded

"come kill a whale shark!!"

"O.o i just hearthed to dal :S"

"well, get moving, we'll hold up on killing it."

I couldn't believe my luck or how nice these guys were being. The whole time i was making my lagtastic way from Dal to Vashj'ir, they were chatting in party saying to hold back on dps, and to drop agro on the shark, so that it'd still be alive-ish when i finally got there.

Which I finally did, a few minutes later, damn my loading screens, and with just under a 3rd of the kill left to go! I threw in my own 2cents of dps and we took that whale shark down!!

Achievement Unlocked!!

hee hee a big thanx to Euphimea, who was the hunter i first spoke to, as well as Partts, Arnwyn and Exaven for being so super cool and inviting me to get the achievement, you guys, even though you probably won't ever read this, you are still awesome none the less.

oh, i also told my guild i solo'd it hee hee (with 4 other people :P)
